2023 Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster First Look Review: Lifting the Lid on Excellence

Front-End View

It wouldn’t be an Aston if it didn’t have a plush cabin, and the interior of the V12 Vantage Roadster ticks that box, too. Both perches are the brand’s Sports Plus Seats, upholstered in full semi-aniline leather with the same ‘Wings’ quilted perforation pattern found in the Coupé. Performance seats with a visible carbon fiber twill shell are optionally available if you want the ultimate support when you cut those corners (of course these also save about 16 lbs in weight).

Alcantara and semi-aniline trim are available in mono or duotone schemes, and there’s plenty of customization potential – from stitching, trim and interior trim to seat belt color, few Roadsters will look the same. And with custom personalization through Q by Aston Martin to consider, we’re confident all Spoken Roadsters will be one-of-a-kind.

Features in the cabin include comfort such as heated seats, a surround-view camera and an 8-inch LCD screen derived from the aging Mercedes COMAND system with an Aston Martin audio system.

Don’t expect too much in terms of cargo space. There’s a closed storage compartment and a bin under the armrest – and even two cup holders – but when you open the trunk there’s not much room. A strut bridge spans the width of the cargo area, but there’s still just over seven cubic feet of cargo space in the V12 Vantage Roadster.
