The 2022 Subaru Crosstrek is now Subaru’s most popular model, having risen to fifth place among the ten most researched vehicles in Edmunds’ top 50 most researched new vehicles in June 2022. On the rise among compact SUV shoppers, the Crosstrek is a vehicle that grabs their attention.

The ten most researched new vehicles

Economical Small SUVs and crossovers dominate the top five, with the 2022 Honda CR-V number one of the most popular cars. It is followed by the 2002 Toyota RAV4, 2022 Mazda CX-5, 2022 Honda Civic and 2022 Subaru Crosstrek. Six to ten include the Acura RDX, Hyundai Tucson, Honda Pilot, Honda Passport and Ford Mustang Mach-E.

What distinguishes the Crosstrek?

What sets the 2022 Crosstrek apart from other entry-level compact models is its fuel-efficient boxer engine combined with its four-wheel drive technology, which delivers dynamic driving performance and unique safety features. The new generation EyeSight safety technology is standard equipment on the Crosstrek when fitted with the CVT automatic transmission.

The Subaru Crosstrek also comes with a ground clearance of 8.7 inches that no competitor exceeds. Crosstrek also comes with X-Mode on Base and Premium trim levels for all-weather performance and dual-function X-Mode on Sport and Limited gear for off-road excursions. Subaru says 30 percent of Crosstrek owners take their subcompact SUV off-road for weekend adventures.

What is the price of the Subaru Crosstrek 2022?

The 2022 Subaru Crosstrek is available in five customer trim levels. The base trim costs $24,320, Premium ($25,470), Sport ($28,670), Limited ($30,170), and Crosstrek Hybrid ($37,520). Prices include destination and delivery charges which increase ($1,175).

What is the fuel consumption of Crosstrek in 2022?

According to the latest study from Consumer Reports, the 2022 Subaru Crosstrek is listed as one of the Twelve Most Efficient SUVs you can buy now.

You can have a four-wheel drive SUV and still get good fuel economy. Using direct injection on its new 2.5-litre four-cylinder boxer engine, the Subaru Crosstrek achieves 27/34 mpg city/highway and 29 mpg combined.

The 2.0-litre engine gets 28/33 mpg and 30 mpg combined with the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) automatic, contributing to better mileage.

What’s coming for the Crosstrek model change in 2023?

Because the Crosstrek is so popular, Subaru doesn’t need to upgrade the 2023 subcompact SUV Crosstrek. It’s a carryover, except for the new 2023 Crosstrek Special Edition trim.

What is the price of the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek?

There is no point in waiting for the models for 2023. All 2023 Subaru Crosstrek trim levels will receive a $600 price increase, including destination and delivery charges.

The 2023 Subaru Crosstrek is now available in six trim levels for US customers. The base trim costs $24,870, Premium, ($26,020), Special Edition ($27,970), Sport ($29,220), Limited ($30,720) and Crosstrek Hybrid ($38,070). Prices include destination and delivery charges ($1,225).

Subaru will not change the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek, as it is the most popular vehicle in Subaru of America’s four-wheel drive lineup. If it ain’t broke, why fix it?
