It’s no surprise that the 2022 Subaru Crosstrek is among the six best-selling new vehicles this year. It’s a surprise that 2022 Subaru Ascent 3-row family dumper also ranks among the top new models in Q2 2022. The Crosstrek has been America’s most popular Subaru model all year. Ascent has had a four-month increase in sales since March.

A report from Motor Bisquit says six notable new vehicles include: top sellers in the second quarter of 2022 are the Ford Mustang Mach-E, BMW 4 Series, Subaru Crosstrek, Subaru Ascent, Jeep Compass and Honda HR-V.

The 2022 Subaru Crosstrek subcompact SUV remains sizzling hot, with 10,675 subcompact SUVs delivered to customers in June. That’s a huge 66.4 percent increase from June 2021 sales (6,415). Crosstrek is the second best-selling all-wheel drive model for SOA, with 70,050 models delivered to customers in the first six months, compared to 64,214 models sold in 2021.

Crosstrek is one of the few models to see sales increase in 2022, up 9.1 percent this year. The Ascent 3-Row SUV is the only other Subaru SUV in 2022 (+9.0%).

What is the 2022 Crosstrek price?

The 2022 Subaru Crosstrek is available in five customer trim levels. The base trim costs $24,320, Premium ($25,470), Sport ($28,670), Limited ($30,170), and Crosstrek Hybrid ($37,520). Prices include destination and delivery charges which increase ($1,175).

Should customers wait for the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek?

The 2023 Crosstrek will remain unchanged with no new upgrades. There’s no benefit to waiting, as all trim levels of the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek will receive a $600 price increase, including destination and delivery charges. Dealer fees increased $50 for Crosstrek trims in 2023.

The 2023 Crosstrek base trim costs $24,870, Premium, ($26,020), New Special Edition ($27,970), Sport ($29,220), Limited ($30,720) and Crosstrek Hybrid ($38,070). Prices include destination and delivery charges ($1,225).

The 2022 Subaru Ascent 3-Row family dumper has been on sale for nearly a year, but is now making a resurgence. Subaru of America reports that Ascent sales rose again in June, rising 7.9 percent for the fourth straight month, with 5,603 3-row SUVs delivered to customers, compared to 5,192 in June 2021.

The Ascent is just one of two Subaru SUVs (along with Crosstrek) to soar in sales in its first five months. The increase is up 9.0 percent to date, with 30,931 3-row SUVs sold to families in 2022.

What is the 2022 ascent prize?

The 2022 Subaru Ascent base starts at $33,970 and Premium versions start at $36,470. The new Ascent Onyx Edition starts at $39,670. The upper Limited trim level starts at $41,270 and the top-end Touring has a suggested starting price of $47,120. Prices include destination fees ($1,175).

Why customers have to wait for the 2023 ascent

Customers in the US who can wait until this fall may want to wait for the newly upgraded 2023 Ascent 3-Row SUV. The 2023 Ascent gets a facelift with new features and upgrades. Ascent gets contemporary exterior styling, new safety technology and new technology upgrades inside. The Onyx edition also gets further improvements. Stay tuned for pricing on the 2023 Ascent.
