Your car’s aerodynamics have a major impact on how it handles corners. In the Aerodynamics section of your car’s settings, you will see two options: Aero Front Wing and Aero Rear Wing.

When you increase the value of these Aerodynamics settings, your car’s wings will create more downforce, meaning your car will have more aerodynamic grip. In layman’s terms, your car’s tires can put more pressure on the track.

If you have a high aerodynamic grip, you will maneuver quickly through turns.

Keeping this in mind, you may think that you should always set the Aerodynamics settings to their highest value, but this has some significant drawbacks.

As you increase the Aerodynamic values, you also increase the chance that your car will oversteer. When your car oversteers, it loses its balance and in turn loses some of its speed.

So if you set the Aerodynamic values ​​too high, you’ll lose top speed, but you’ll be able to maneuver through corners better. And if you put them too low, you’ll get top speed, but you’ll have a hard time getting through tight turns.

When setting these values ​​you should first look at the structure of the track. If the track has a lot of turns, you need to increase the aerodynamics. And if the track consists mainly of straight lines, you are free to set the aerodynamic values ​​low to achieve more top speed.


In the Suspension category of your car settings, you will see the following options:

Ideally, your brake pressure should be just slightly below the maximum value (100%). As for the Brake Bias, this setting is easier to understand because in-game you can adjust the Brake Bias while you’re in the middle of a race.

This setting determines whether the brake pressure acts more on the front tires or the rear tires.

Moving the option more to the left will make your car more stable when braking. However, it also increases the chances of your wheels getting stuck.
