Red River Ranch in Los Olivos was the scene of the inaugural Cars & Cowboys Extravaganzaa Saturday benefit to Meals on Wheels Santa Ynez Valley.
Organized by the Santa Ynez Valley Senior Citizen Foundation and Community Outreach in Santa Ynez Valley, the event featured dozens of rare cars and trucks; barbecue, beer, wine and signature cocktails; a live auction; music by Three Rivers Band; rope lessons from Solvang resident and seven-time National Rodeo Champion Bill Agin; and a demonstration by renowned equestrian entertainer and horse trainer Ramon Becerra.
According to the organizers, the event was meant to celebrate the car in tandem with western culture and the heritage of the Santa Ynez Valley.
