F1 Twitter was full of mischief after the Italian Grand Prix as numerous memes emerged about the safety car finish in which Max Verstappen won ahead of Charles Leclerc.
The Formula 1 community reacted mixed to the end of the race, but despite the controversy, the memes continued to flow on Twitter as fans made fun of Daniel Ricciardo’s late DNF and the resulting anti-climatic final in Monza.
Earlier in the race, F1 Twitter joked about Sergio Perez’s brakes overheating and then Ferrari’s strategy, but towards the end Plan A, B or C were irrelevant as all the cars were behind the Aston Martin for the last few laps – safety car reason.
