“The car accident in Ireland was, I’d say, the three biggest traumas of my life, maybe the first,” Gray told ET. “It’s very hard to describe when you’re having a near-death experience and being present with other people’s deaths. Being alone on a country road in the middle of nowhere with no one else around or conscious was pretty terrifying.”

Gray went on to say that the car accident caused “so many other things” in her life.

“I was the only living witness as Matthew had survived, but he was unconscious, had amnesia and was badly injured. I thought he was dead,” Gray told ET, adding that she was initially unaware that there were any fatalities. goods.

“I didn’t even know there were two other women who died tragically at that time. It’s just something you just don’t come back from the same way,” Gray said.

Gray also defended Broderick, who was driving the vehicle, adding that they were sober at the time of the accident.
