The three-car accident happened on September 27 on I-30 in St. Francis.

Before officers arrived, the man, who officers said was wearing all-black safety clothing, pulled the 52-year-old victim from the car.

An ambulance took her to Baylor Dallas in stable condition.

The sheriff was never given the name of the Good Samaritan, but wants people to know about his brave attempt to help a stranger.
