Jerry Jones released, 'all fine' after two-vehicle accident

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was released from a Dallas hospital Wednesday night after a minor car accident. He returned home, according to reports, with team executive vice president Stephen Jones offering brief confirmation that his father’s injuries in the crash were not serious.

The accident happened around 8 p.m. near Harry Hines Boulevard and Wolf Street. Jones was taken “as a precaution” to Parkland Hospital, about two miles away.

He was reportedly released shortly afterwards.

The exact nature of the accident has not been disclosed, although the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that two vehicles were involvedaccording to the Dallas Police Department.

It is not yet known whether the 79-year-old Jones was behind the wheel.
