Hazing effects: Middletown’s Area High School’s hazing policy states that the district may take immediate action before being handed out permanent punishment. High school football season has been canceled due to videos showing hazing. The PIAA says that student-athletes who transfer must sit out for 21 days.

Transplant waiting: People waiting for a kidney or liver transplant from Hershey Medical Center can switch to another transplant program without losing time on the waiting list. Hershey stopped the program due to problems.

Prices used cars: Used car prices rose more than 10% in downtown Pa last year. and the whole country. They are starting to decline again, but the vehicle supply is not what it was before the coronavirus pandemic.

Time to go: The owners of the East Shore Diner on Cameron Street in Harrisburg will temporarily close after September 1 and move the 1950s restaurant. It has to go due to an I-83 extension project.

Debate debates: US Senate candidate Mehmet Oz has agreed to five debates, including one to be held in less than two weeks. His opponent, John Fetterman, who suffered a stroke on May 13, has yet to commit.

Star visit: Super Bowl champion Eli Manning attended Penn State practice on Wednesday. He spoke to the team, posed for photos with the quarterbacks, and announced that Barney Amor, a walk-on punter, was getting a scholarship.
