Choosing the right car in Rocket League is pretty much essential for successfully climb the ranks during every season. Every body has its own pros and cons – as so often in life, there is no perfect solution that every Rocket League player should know.

Nevertheless, some cars are much cooler and much more popular with the community because they just feel (subjectively and objectively) better. Here you will find the best Rocket League cars of 2022! We briefly explain some important key factors to watch out for and also show which instances are used by most RL professionals.

The best cars in Rocket League

What is the best car in Rocket League? Pfff, a damn hard question, after all the selection of bodies is huge and getting even bigger with every new season. In the end it is always personal preference which car or which Hitbox suits you best. Try not only to look at your own playing style, but also your rank.

That said, there are some bodies in Rocket League that are so loved by the community – and a few others that are sadly falling behind. Best example: Merc. He is big, fat and, above all, clumsy. Not many people can handle this way of playing. However, it’s a whole different story with the best cars in Rocket League…

3. Dominus

Dominus is a standard Rocket League car and at the same time bears the name of probably the second most popular Hitbox in the game. Anyone who has spent a few hours in Rocket League knows how dangerous Power Shots from a Dominus can be. Sure, the large turning circle and flat design take some getting used to…

On the other hand, anyone who still has some catching up to do with their flip timing can make up for it with the Dominus. All in all, an extremely chic Battle Car with some great offensive features, but not as flexible as the other two vehicles.

2. Octane

The Octane has been the flagship of the best cars in Rocket League for years. Not only can it be used right after you start playing, it also looks damn sexy. The Octane has virtually no weaknesses – as a perfect all-rounder the body is clearly quite popular with the community. Whether you’re low in the ranks or as Supersonic Legend king…

1. Fennec

“New is always better”…what Barney Stinson preached a few years ago is still true – at least for Rocket League cars. The Fennec is actually the slightly newer and improved version of the Octane. It even comes with the same Hitboxfurther optimized by Psyonix.

The only downside of the Fennec over the Octane is that the car feels a bit slow and clunky. If your gameplay is mostly fast-paced action, the Octane is probably the better choice. However, as a whole, the Fennec is still the best car in Rocket League.

Which Cars Rocket League Pros Use Most?

Although the Fennec fills the Octane Hitbox a bit better than the Octane itself, the Octane remains the king of the eSports scene. Since season 1 of the RLCS, a lot of pros have been relying on the OG car – never change a running system, you know. In fact, the Octane has always been so popular that Psyonix even gave it its own statue at DFH Stadium.

The Fennec and the Dominus come in second and third – of course eSports players always know what’s right. They literally have to do to perform at the highest level. However, these are still the best cars if you’re playing Rocket League casually and just trying to have some fun. you can do it the most important tricks and flicks with all bodies anyway… so relax and be nice.
