SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A chase involving both the Sacramento Police Department and the Sacramento County Sheriff ended with the 16-year-old driver being killed in an accident Friday night.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, the chase began just after 8:45 p.m. with the Sacramento Police Department, but they ended the chase.

A sheriff’s deputy found the car and tried to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused and the crash started again.

The car crashed near Norwood Avenue and Main Avenue. One minor was pronounced dead at the scene, while a second minor was taken to hospital with unknown injuries, the sheriff said.
The Sacramento County coroner has identified the person killed as Elvis Giovanni Umanzor of Sacramento.
