Great Thunder Mountain

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland immerses guests in the rustic atmosphere of Tumbleweed, a largely abandoned mining town filled with dark caves, critters, and more. Considered the “wildest ride in the wilderness” Guests whiz around the mountain aboard runaway trains so intricately detailed it’s easy to think they’ve been in a mine somewhere for decades.

With rustic details, smoke and grime stains, and architectural features suggesting years of productivity, every train on the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad looks like it has had a long history of mining. A great subtle detail to check out on any train are the ironic names on the locomotives, including UR Courageous, UB Bold and IM Loco.

Gliding through the skies of Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom is the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, a scenic and relaxing attraction that showcases the beauty of the area with glimpses of nearby attractions, including Space Mountain. The bright blue carriages that make up each Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover train are powered entirely by magnets embedded in the tracks throughout Tomorrowland. Each magnet, in turn, pushes and pulls the trains to move them smoothly along the track, making them incredibly efficient and comfortable for guests!



Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom is home to many beloved attractions, as well as the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, which opened in 2014 as part of a major expansion. The train takes guests on an exciting adventure through a small mountain and offers a glimpse of the dwarves who are digging in the mines and dancing with Snow White at home.

The Walt Disney World Railroad is a beautiful attraction that many guests often overlook, which takes a great circle tour of the entire Magic Kingdom. The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney’s Hollywood Studios brings terrifying and thrilling experiences to life from the moment guests queue up. The attraction takes guests on an unforgettable journey to The Twilight Zone made possible by the incredible vehicles designed by Imagineers.



While any service elevator guests board may seem relatively normal, they are engineering feats that briefly operate like a normal elevator before moving horizontally through a scene and then moving with a pulley system to be lifted and pulled down faster than gravity. Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run

Each Star Wars fan will tell you that one of their ultimate dreams is to not only board, but also pilot the Millennium Falcon, which can be found throughout the film series as Luke, Han, Rey and more favorites in all sorts of galactic problems come. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios not only built the iconic piece of space junk, but also created an attraction that fulfills the guests’ greatest wish.

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run brings guests onto the ship on a special mission for Hondo, offering them the chance to step into the cockpit and take on the role of pilot, engineer or gunner. Each reel features interactive elements that affect the experience in real time, and the pilots even get the incredible chance to slam it into hyperdrive, turning the Millennium Falcon cockpit into a great attraction vehicle not to be missed.

The last attraction vehicle on the list can be found in the village of Harambe in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Kilimanjaro Safaris invites guests to board the Harambe Reserve for a beautiful and scenic authentic adventure filled with chance encounters with animals including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and more.



To enable the experience of Kilimanjaro Safaris, guests board absolutely huge, beautifully themed safari vehicles to feel like they have been roaming the African savanna for years. The trucks also have large open sides giving guests great views of the animals, helpful illustrated guides above and a large mirror in the front that allows the driver to see and interact with guests throughout the experience.
