Top 10 Best Selling Cars in India

This is the first time in a long time that the top ten sales chart has produced a different result. Tata is not at the top of the charts and Maruti Suzuki continues to hold the top spot, with a whopping 7 vehicles in the top ten.

Maruti Suzuki WagonR regularly topped the sales chart, with Baleno trailing behind. But the Baleno is now India’s best-selling car, with 18,418 sold in August 2022.

Maruti WagonR sales are down, which can be attributed to the recently launched Alto K10. WagonR sold 18,398 units in August 2022, representing a 91.90% year-over-year increase.

New Maruti Suzuki Brezza occupies the third and most interesting position. It is currently the best-selling SUV, easily surpassing Creta and Nexon, which is surprising considering that Brezza was in 12th place last month.
